Print out the lyrics of the song. Then choose two or more extra words that are not in the song and add them to the list. Give the words in a random order to your pupils. Play the song and ask them to tick the words they hear. After that play the song again, however, they are not going to sing the song, they are just going to point to their body parts without saying anything.
The next time you play the song your pupils are not going to say head or shoulders. They are just going to point to their head and shoulders. Then play the song again and, this time they are not going to say head, shoulders or knees. They are just going to point those three body parts.
When you play the song for the fifth time, your pupils are not going to say head, shoulders, knees or toes. They are just going to point those body parts.
Finally, play the song one more time and, this time, they are going to say all those body parts.
